Bio

I am Martin, The Travelling Goth (formerly known by many as Darklyng).

The basic plot: Disillusioned with life and lacking in funds, I have decided to give up life in London for a while and go walking. I am leaving from London on foot and heading towards the peak district, then hopefully on in to Scotland. I don't know what's going to happen but I intend to find out.

This journal will allow people to get a rough idea of where I am. Aside from amusing my friends in London, I am also hoping to hook up with people in one or two cities - I already have some people keen to meet me in Huddersfield, so that's a start. This will also give me an opportunity to swap my books with someone at a few points on my journey, as I can't carry more than two or three books at any one time.
